    Friends,
I, like many of you, am also seeking that super warm tone. I'm currently running an old Ampeg V3 with a Celestion G12-75T. The speaker is tattered, dead, shot, beat, you name it. I'd like to find a speaker that is best suited for a heavy warm sound. Vintage 30? New G12-75T? Scheffield? Any thoughts you have would be appreciated. Just so you are aware, my current speaker/setup is always a bit bright, and I have to EQ it down. Is that because of the dead speaker?

In my opinion you cant go wrong with vintage 30s.I have a 5150 412cab and its buzzy.A 75watt speaker can be bittey. It also depends on what you are looking for.

    Exactly Rippin,

I highly suggest the Celestion Vintage 30's. I know they get a unbelievable sound out of a 5150 and I'm sure any other high gain amp.

    Good luck Man!
