Would anyone like to share some homebrewed VH clips or EVH inspired clips that they've recorded? List your gear used along with the clips.

There's 1 minute of me attempting Unchained with stupidly over the top flanger settings on my site.

I used:

</font>
• My Peavey Wolfgang (badly in need of a restring)</font>
• Zoom 505 II pedal</font>
• Cool Edit Pro</font>
• My P.C.</font>
• Lots of swearing
</font>

I love the tone on the ACDC tune, it sounds like an old rush tone on my laptop. Good Stuff

So you arent miking your amp, youre just running a lead straight from your zoom to the sound card?

Nope, just a lead straight into the Zoom 505 II and then straight into the soundcard...

There are 2 reasons why I don't mike the amp up :

</font>
• Firstly, and most importantly, I'm usually farting around with recording in the evenings. If I put the AMP on, I get a serious bollocking from the missus, because it resonates through the floor and ruins her enjoyment of whatever reality T.V. show she is currently watching.</font>
• Secondly, the microphone that I currently possess is pants, as I discovered when I tried to sing the lyrics to a Thunder cover I am working on. Usually, the recording level is at level 0. I turn the guitar up to 3 or down to -3 on various parts, and that's usually enough to tell the difference. However, the vocals were so quiet, I had to turn them up to 35 in order to be able to hear them (and by then it sounded really muffled).

Weird huh ?

Thx lil'devil!
I used my peavey wolfgang (stoptail bridge) and my Pod. The Pod was set on a Soldano emulation of some sort I'm pretty sure. It was done a while ago.

Well I FINALLY got a working version of Cool Edit Pro Full so I'm gonna lay some tracks down and I'll post them as soon as I can. (However long it takes me to learn CEP). I'll be using:

1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard w/Duncan Customs
Digitech RP300 set on High Gain
Boss Metal Zone (for treble boost)
Cool Edit Pro 2
Right Now...My gf is probably reading my posts.
