The simple way to handle this would be to email Rol privately, but maybe we can all learn something if I enlighten myself publicly....

Questions: Can my Axis be refretted with jumbo frets?

What about scalloping? Could I leave the frets as they are, and get the fingerboard scalloped from the 12th fret up???

A reply from anyone is welcome....

Only thing is, what if you don't like the change? What about getting a replacement neck made with Jumbo's and scalloping? That way if you don't like it, your Axis neck is there to put back. Thats just my 2 pennies.

The answer is yes to all of the above but expect to pay alot, I like the idea of getting another neck.. the cost should be comparable and as Larry pointed out, You will have TWO necks.
