What is a good unit that I can plug my head phones into and go buck-nuts with?My landlord lives right under me so i can not get a loud amp.So I would just like to find something I can plug my guitar into and headphones.

Are we going to have to wait for Wolfie to start his own band before we get another Van Halen CD?

I'd go with a POD. Perfect for headphones, no matter what kind of guitar you use.

I agree, if you want to use headphones all the time this is definitely the way to go.

Great idea Tribb...the pod has many different settings to sound like the artist you are influenced by and then some...
What I do is: I plug my cordless headphone transmitter into my amp and jam away. My headphones are ADVENT wireless brand model AW770.
The headphones are available at Best Buy and maybe short circuit city. The headphones themselves are the most comfortable I have ever wore and one size fits all...they automatically adjust to your thick skulls! LOL! The sound quality is amazing and you don't have to worry about a headphone cord "rubbing" your strings for added annoyance. Also they plug into any stereo or T.V jack so you can listen to what ever C.D. or program you want without annoying your neighbors.....I do not know how much they cost since I got them from my Dad for X-mas.
Just go for it!

The POD suggestion is a good idea, BUT, I can't suggest enough to try out the Johnson J-Station when you try out the POD. I went to get a POD, and when I was there the shop had a J-Station set up right beside the POD. I tried them both, and I liked the J-Station a lot better. They're basically the same animal, but I thought the Marshall model on the J-Station blew away the POD's Marshall, and a good Marshall model was my main concern. I ask the sales guy how much the J-Station was(worried that it was gonna be more than the POD) and he tells me Johnson had dropped the price on the J-Station to $149 and it comes with a free copy of Cakewalk Guitar Tracks 2 8 track recording software!! So my suggestion is to make sure you give the J-Station a try, you might be surprised(and pay only half the price of the POD)
