You have to win the lottery. Yes, it is quite expensive to have 2 or 3 Wolfgangs, a couple Music Mans, and a 5150. But then you also have to add in effects and all that other good stuff. It's too expensive for me. By the way, I wonder if the price for Wolfgangs will go up, down, or stay the same in the future?

Most of us who own this type of stuff play professionally or semi-professionally. So, it's really just an investment in what you do for a living.

Good question dude! Yes! It is all expensive. My local music dealer offered a great price of $850 for a Special flame-top. I could not do it. Kids, bills and all. Remeber when Ed said a guitar cost him only $300 or $400? Where have all the good times gone? I buy junk and build on them. They sound great and are mine!

I wouldn't buy a Peavey guitar either. I'll stick with my Gibsons, Fenders, Andersons, EVHMMs!

To answer your question man, be lucky enough to save your money and spend it wisely on a EBMM and the likes. I do like the toys, and will spend on such toys in a pinch. LOL. Seriously though I worked hard to save up money for my 94 MM. After that I just kept adding stuff to my collection. I'm not a real guitar player btw. Just love having guitars and amps around to dick around on. We drummers are odd like that. Out.

This is the question I've always wanted to know but was afraid to ask!

Well I do it the stupid way. I get loans.
I'm pretty good at paying things back quickly
so the interest doesn't eat me alive. I've
also had good luck with layaway plans. I've
found that if you want something BAD enough,
there is a way. Take Care

It's called, saving your money. I bought a used Wolfie for $800 and got my EBMM new in 1992, so it was only $1,100, plus I traded a guitar an amp for it, to cut the cost down. Plus I was in college and had a summer job, and my parents PAID for my school, so I had loads of extra dough that summer.
