I'm in the market for an original black Floyd. Where's the cheapest place to buy one? Also, how much do they cost?

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Hi,
I've been shopping around for a Floyd myself and there are always a few on Ebay. The going price seems to be around $70-80. I'd proceed with caution, though, obviously . If you need the genuine article, Warmoth sell the original. Check out www.warmoth.com .

let me add to this, be very carefull when buying from ebay, obviously the floyds on ebay (most of them are used) will be worn, a floyd with worn pivot points is a crap shoot some still work others don't make sure to get good pictures of the pivot points before you buy, and of all the places to get a floyd www.warmoth.com is the cheapest for originall Shaller and upgraded Shaller floyds they are the real deal when you get them from them, and pay attention when you see floyds listed other places for $130 or such,
those are *without* the nut and they will want another $30 for that.
