Alrighty, I have a confession to make here. I have never before this weekend listened to 5150. I know there are a few closet KISS fans out there. I am an ex KI$$ fan myself. I have seen them about 12 times and followed them religiously until I just got too tired of $immon$ greediness.
Anywho, listen to 5150 and approx 1:06 into the intro, tell me that isn't the same lick in Domino. By the way, this song kicks serious ass up until they kill it when they slow it down for Hagar to start singing.
I never listened to the 5150 album because all I knew was that some guy was trying to take Roth's place. that is the only sone on that album I have listened to so far...I have listened to the rest of the albums just out of curiosity...

5150 is a great album and a great song as well! I know the tune Dominio from Kiss. I don't hear much of a resemblance there, but I'll give it another listen....

Dunno, dont have the disc right now. Who was the guitarist for KI$$ in 92 when Revenge came out? Kulic? If it was, I never thought of him as the type of guy to rip anyones riffs.
Kiss still rules even though I can't stand the greed factor anymore.

I don't Kulick is so much an Eddie riff thief as he is an admirer.

If you have the chance to pick up Eric Carr solo album, "Rockology", there's a track on there called "You Make Me Crazy". Here is the narrative from Bruce Kulick, since he did the liner notes for the album:

"Originally called 'VAN HALEN' for its influence, this is a cool track that exists only on cassette. Eric is scat singing and plays drum machine and bass. I play guitars and had a blast with the solo. Could have been a great live rocker for Eric to perform."

If you get the chance, look for it online via KaZaA or somewhere. You'd swear it was Eddie himself on that track. It's obvious Ed is a huge influence on Bruce.
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

"This is a lttle prayer dedicated to the separation of church and state. I guess if they are going to force those kids to pray in schools they might as well have a nice prayer like this: Our Father who art in heaven, and to the republic for which it stands, thy kingdom come, one nation indivisible as in heaven, give us this day as we forgive those who so proudly we hail. Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen. ."

"I think it's the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."

    -George Carlin 1937 - 2008
