What do you guys think of these guys? Personally I like the first 2 tunes that they have put out off their album. I don't really like much of what is coming out these days as rock music is concerned, but there are a few bands that are decent and I think that these guys fit into that category. Next to Staind and Linkin Park, I think these guys might be the best that is out there right now as far as new rock bands. Does anyone have their album? Thoughts?

They don't impress me that much, but when compared to other bands like Limp Bizkit and Korn, they're OK. I like Godsmack, Sevendust, and Staind the most out of all the current rock bands.

Good call with Godsmack Dan! I totally forgot about them, although they get played way too much around here, because they are from the Boston area, these guys still rock.

I just sat through about 30 seconds of their video and maybe it's not one of the two songs you're talking about because they are absolute ass-wipe. Another lame, contemporary "rock" band that has about zero to offer and won't be remembered for dick. Yet one more band to join the growing list of bland, monotonous, boring dribble that I guess clown outfits like MTV have no choice but to offer. Nothing personal man, just my opinion.

Hippie, don't worry man, to each his or her own. I don't take things that seriously. As far as the song is concerned, the video you were watching was probably for Blurry the song Laner mentioned, and actually that is one of the two songs that I was talking about.

I liked "control"- the first song that came out. That opening riff is awesome! I downloaded most of their album of the net and really didn't like anything else. "Blurry" is not that great IMHO. The singers voice on blurry as well as the rest is quite naisly/whiny. It annoys me.

Godsmack's first album ROCKED!!!! Second is so-so. Most new stuff kinda sucks to me and I'm at that age (26) that this is supposed to appeal to.

Puddle of Mudd has a very Alice-in-chainsy feel to them. The album is decent, but it won't knock your socks off if the first two songs don't blow you away.

If you want to save $13, just download Control, Blurry, Drift and Die, and She Hates Me. That's basically the high spots on the album in a nutshell.

I like the whole CD. I won't put them up there with the better current bands like Godsmack, Staind, and Disturbed but it's pretty much straight ahead rock. I don't see the AIC comparison at all but to each his own. Puddle won't have any staying power but their pretty good right now. Also any single Dad that sees the Blurry video can't help but feel a little touched.

I like "Control", but I haven't heard any of their other stuff...
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

Yeah that's how I feel. Blurry is alright, I just saw the video for it about twenty minutes ago.

Blurry is hands down the best song on that album.
