the hulkamaniac brother was wondering what are some of your favorite cover songs. i love any cover that the former long haired runaway joan jett and the blackhearts do. there cover of rebel, rebel and love is all around are top notch. also manford mann's cover of the boss song blinded by the light is like totally cool brothers and sisters. the cover of ccr's fortunate son by the band known commonly as reverened is alright and elvis presley cover of my way and blue suede shoes are great highlights of any music collection. what are your favorties? the hulkamaniac brother wants to know? enquireing minds want to know?

a couple that the hulkamaniac brother forgot to post include the guns and roses cover of hair of the dog, jon bon jovi's cover of john lennon's imagine, tiffany's cover of i think we're alone now, motorhead doing a cover of the famous ozzy song hellraiser and los lobos with the ricthie valen's covers of donna and la bamba. now let see what the 3,000 plus screaming van halan manaics can come up with.

what, no I Shot the Sheriff?

OK, my New Wave tendencies are going to show again, and i expect to get ripped for this one...Duran Duran did a whole disc of covers, called "Thank You..." they did butcher Zep's Thank You, but they did the old funk workout I Wanna Take You Higher, Elvis Costello's Watching the Detectives, a non-rap take on Public Enemy's 911 Is A Joke, and Grandmaster Flash's White Lines. the Doors' Crystal Ship is on there, too, it wasn't too bad, but not stupendous.

and how about Aerosmith doing Rocking Pnuemonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu, Slayer doing In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, and the Bangles doing Hazy Shade of Winter, all on the Less Than Zero soundtrack...

I guess just e-mail me when's a good time for you to be on AIM and then I can probably make it and send it that way. I don't use winMX that often (can never find good, er any karaoke on there) so it would be hard to catch me on that, although if you felt that was an easier way to transfer we could probably arrange for me to put that on. Let me know...
