My friend recieved a KORN import CD for Christmas and he wants to know if it is worth keeping or if he should return it. It is called MAXIMUM KORN The Unauthorized Biography Of KORN. Has anyone heard of it? The disc also states that there is no musical performance by the band nor is it authorized by them. Since I am clueless about any newer bands I thought that maybe some of you know who they are could help.

Here are the tracks if it helps:
1)Sonic Nirvana
2)Mind Games
3)Brutal Debut
4)Life is Peachy
5)Cutting Edge
6)Touring Tribulations
7)Fashion Conscious
8)Korn Kampaign
9)Follow the Leader
10)Family Values
11)Rock is Dead

If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

That CD is just a collection of audio interviews throughout the band's career.

There are CD's like this for most popular bands/acts out there right now. It's not an official release by the band (or the label for that matter).

They're just some company basically trying to make money off a band's name.

I would return it.

I didn't really understand what Korn was doing when they came out, but I'm a BIG fan of theirs now. If "Nu-Metal" is a genre, these guys are it's Led Zeppelin.
