Anybody have any new bands that they like?...I left the music industry about 6 months ago to work on ICBM's and now that I'm out of the loop...I need some metal. What's riffy and keeps your head movin'? I got the new Down, Audiovent, Hoobastank, and Default....anything else I'm missin' that's worth checkin' out?

Godsmack is pretty heavy. Also Sevendust, and the latest Disturbed and Tool CD's are awesome.

not sure of any new undiscovered bands but there is a little bar in syracuse new york called the lost horizion that features a lot of headbanging, speed metal that is played very loud. not sure if you will find the next eddie van halen or david lee roth but it worth checking out if you are on the east coast. also if you ever travel to the florida keys there is an artist called michael crissan. although he isn ot heavy metal he is a very good guitar player and singer. i have seen him perform three or four times and i like his show. he does not jump around constantly and sacrifice women on stage like some bands do but he plays his guitar so well that it grabs you and does not let go. you leeave the show wanting more and more. like i said it is not heavy metal and if you looking for a singer and guitar player that treats women with respect in his songs instead of whipping them on stage or making groupies do disgusting things then michael crissan is a guitar player worth listening to.

pick up a couple TOOL cd's....unlike anything you'll ever here.
sevendust is also a different sound...the band is good and the guy can sing
disturbed is good fun shit but nothing special
nickelback is allright and kinda starting to grow on me
if you liked TOOL try a perfect circle
Gozer the Traveller will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a very large and moving Torb. Then of course in the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.
