Shows got better for me when I became more discriminating (as I got older and got better seats )

    Not in any order whatsoever:

Joe Satriani - Flying in a Blue Dream tour

    Peter Frampton - 1992

    U2 - 1992 (Zoo TV, I think)

    Black Sabbath - Reunion 1999

    Dada - Puzzle Tour

    Allman Brothers Band - 1995

    Eric Johnson - 1992

Dream Theatre a few years back. They played a small club in Baltimore called "Hammerjacks". It was a real small club, and it's since been torn down to make room for the Ravens Stadium.

The band just rocked. Great sound. Great seats. Petrutchi (sp?) was looking right at me all night!!!!!!!!

Smashing Pumpins, when there double disc set came out. Once again, a club setting. One set was accoustic and another set was big and buzzy guitars.

AC/DC, saw them for the first time this past summer. Great show, way too loud!

Right, Mem Auditorium. I should still have the stub. I'm in Berkeley. But I like the Sacto road trip for shows. It can be easier to get tix for the Sacto shows than the Bay Area shows when located in the Bay Area. I first saw JA on ~5/90 at the Cal Expo Amp or was it '91? It was right before the Lalapoloza tour which I saw at Shoreline and Fiddlers Green in Denver. That Shoreline show was pretty epic. I saw the first night.
But I was sooo close at the Sacto shows for JA. Small venues make it sweet.

DLR Band - Dave really had a lot of fun at the show and he left a smile on everyone's face. His jumps were still fantastic and the man is a superb performer!

PTTP: Poison, Cinderella, Dokken, and Slaughter 2000 - Well, every band sounded excellent...The real thrill was when the stage was filled with girls grabbing the Poison guys all over at the end. If you want an '80's flashback, see Poison...The crowd loves them...I was just there for Dokken, though

Def Leppard '00...Great show! Joe Elliot can really belt out the screams and if you're looking for a band that sounds just like their album live, they're the guys!

LedHead...If any of your bands ever plays the Crest Theater here...YOU MUST GO. It's a classic old theater...kinda like the Paramount in Oakland, but half the size.

Berkeley...I spent most of my H.S. weekends there...Eat at Blondie's for me this week!!*L*
