I think the show has been very well done for most part Wish the show could last a bit more.
And Carmen Electra looks amazing in black leather...
    So what do you think?

Although I don't agree with some of the rankings, I guess its alright. After all, the results came from the artists themselves. Can't wait until tomorrow so I can see Van Halen at #7 (really should be at #5, though). And yes, Carmen Electra does look good in black leather.

After watching the first few editions of the show, you can tell that Alice Cooper, Rob Halford, Richie Sambora, and Kirk Hammett aren't very busy these days. It seems like they have a comment on every artist.

I think they did a fair enough job of including everyone who deserves to be there. My issue is with the Top Ten itself and the Top Five Guitar Players.

A More fair and realistic Top ten based on their list?

    1) Led Zeppelin
    2) Black Sabbath
    3) Van Halen
    4) AC\DC
    5) Jimi Hendrix
    6) The Who
    7) Kiss
    8) Metallica
    9) Queen
    10)Guns N Roses

Ace Frehley would not even make a top 20 of best guitar players in Hard Rock. Don't know how he got in to the top three.

OK, now let's be honest - Who was shitting a brick when the poll reached the top 10?

I mean, when they got all the way to 10, I said to myself, "Self, if they haven't mentioned VH yet, you know they're not gonna. This is VH1, after all."

So you can imagine how surprised I was to see them pop in at 7.

VH should have ranked higher, obviously, but I never thought that they'd get as high as they did to begin with.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

yeah, I hear ya DIF. I was pleasantly suprised myself. Nice to beat out the Who eh?.

I could NOT believe the Stones were ranked 65th?! THAT is the most OFF ranking I have EVER seen. And I'm not even a huge stones fan. Nirvana beats the Stones by 50 some odd spots. Yeah.....OK.

Oh, word up to beating out "The Who!"

I was like when I saw that!

And I'm with you on the Stones. WTF were they doing so low?

Well, I thought it just might have been bad taste on the artists part, since they were the ones who voted for the top acts.

(Votes? Rigged? Whoa... Deja Vu, anyone ...? LOL)

Yeah, it was funny when they showed Ozzy's top ten and, low and behold, he was #1

The reason the Stones were so low on the list is because a lot of the voters didnt consider them hard rock....i sure as hell dont.

I thought those shows were pretty cool. It's not every day you see 5 hours of hard rock on TV. I pretty much agreed with the top 25, though no necessarily the order - I do think that Nirvana should be ranked very high even though personally I find them boring. They had a huge impact, as big as VH IMO.

Carmen Electra was HORRIBLE. I guess some of you guys don't care too much about IQ She looked so uncomfortable and fake too with every forced pose and stupid comment.
