    everytime i burn videos (mpegs) onto cd, my dvd player says there is no cd

    do i have to convert them?
    what format should they be in?

    please e-mail me! i need help!

    they have to be done in a certain format.

    It takes a fair bit of mucking round to get it right. I'd recommend going to www.vcdhelp.com and following their 'how to' guides

    Check your DVD player out there too and see what formats it supports (VCD, SVCD etc) and wether it can read cd-rws. You can burn 'test discs' easier then, and just wipe 'em if they dont work.

    It's fun once you make progress, but it'll be frustrating for a while. Just follow those guides and you'll get there
