Does anyone know of any good resources I can go to if I need to find an out of print CD? The disc in question is "The Oracle" by Hank Jones. It was released in 1989. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any suggestions???

I bet there's some killer used CD stores in New Jersey - you might want to call a few and get them to check. After that check Goldmine magazine's catalogues. If all this fails you could also use kazzaa to download Mp3 versions of the tunes and turn them into audio cd format.

I would usa Kazaa except that I'm still on dialup and that would take too long. I'll be checking the used CD stores as I've been looking on the net and have had no luck.

As a last resort, I'll just call my local jazz station and ask for some help!

Yeah, I found that page too when I was looking. I was a bit leery though when it appeared that the page hadn't been updated in a few years. But I'll write to them and see what happens...

www.vinylvendors.com

Don't let the name fool you, they sell CD's. I tried your title, but it couldn't find it. I thought I'd post the link for others that might be looking for hard-to-find music. You're best bet, as mentioned by somebody else, is to try eBay or even Amazon.com's auctions and "Zshops". Or you can even try placing "used CD's" in a search engine at Yahoo and try e-mailing different dealers to see if they can track it for you. I've had success finding out of print books that way.
Good luck!
