If you are highly anticipating the new U2 album like me, then check this out! http://go.to/gods.country

30 second clips of ALL of the new songs on the album, not to be released until October 30. Someone slipped up and leaked these. They sound really good. Also, download the full version of Beautiful Day, it's an awesome song.
At the site, go to the 'U2 Hot' link to find the clips.

    Thanks, buddy!
I've just listened to Beautiful Day the first time, this song is awesome. I didn't like their last album, but it seems that they've found the way back to great songwriting. Is it just me or are those songs harder, more rocking than all they ever did before? It's still U2, but they've changed their sound ina (for me) positive way.

You guys are right...U2 is a kick ass band. Second only to VH in my opinion. I love all of their stuff, but mostly Joshua Tree to Achtung Baby. Those two albums have NO bad songs on them.
Check out the vid for Beautiful Day, on the same site I gave you, I think. The video definitely enhances the song for me. I love when a video does that. Sometimes you think a song is really good, but a video just puts it over the top, and that goes for this song too.
At least we are guaranteed a U2 album and a Sammy album by next month, to hold us over for a while, until VH takes over the music world

I think ACHTUNG BABY was the BEST album of the 90's PERIOD ....
87's Joshua Tree was awesome too . So was Rattle & Hum , I even like Zooropa , POP kinda threw me off a little . I dug that song called Hey Joe ??

Never cared much for U2, but today in the pool room they played a song of U2 that I remember loving when it came out in 1996: Hold me Thrill Me (...can't remember the rest) It was for the Batman 3 soundtrack I believe. I like that song. Very catchy chorus and guitar lines.

I'm guessing that they figured out the links for the songs off www.u2.com - the official site has 3 30 second clips available and the way they are named on the above mentioned site is similar to the way the clips are named on the official site. I tried doing it myself - I didn't get any errors, but I didn't hear any song - but I have a lot of trouble with Real Player anymore.

Napster has every song in its entirety. Just enter the album title and it brings them up.

Checked that out - wonder if that's on purpose or if they're very ticked off at someone right now?

those 'supposed' full songs on Napster are bullshit. I've downloaded AT least 7 different songs off of different people, and they are all either different artists' songs, or just random noise. Someone was just pulling a joks, and distributing these on Napster.

Damn, we finally agree on something?!?
Yeah, I found that bullshit on Napster too. One of those songs actually was U2, but it was a demo from the "Achtung Baby" sessions, and I've already got all that material anyway. It's amazing what feeble minded children can do with too much time on their hands. I suspect that this wasn't any true U2 fan doing such a stupid thing. It would be like posting N'Suck demos (assuming such a thing existed) and calling it the "New Van Halen album".

Is there a good quality clip of "Beautiful Day" out there, because the one I have doesn't sound that great, in terms of sound quality.
