Hey what album's do you wish you never bought? Here's a few I bought that I thought were terrible!

    1) Motley Crue-Generation Swine:
    I really hate this album!!!
I like Motley, but this album was horrible! The only song I liked on it was Shout Of The Devil 97. and that is a remake.
Thank god I got rid of this album at a used CD sale.

    2)Steve Vai-Sex And Religion:
I am a huge Vai fan, but this album sucked!!!
I hated his new band, i'm glad he got rid of them after this album.

    3) Bon Jovi-7800 Farenheit:
I only liked one song on this album.

    4) Lenny Kravitz- Are You Gonna Go My Way:
The only song I like on this album is Are You Gonna Go My Way.

Wow, you didn't like Are You Gonna Go My Way? I thought that was a great album, oh well, different strokes for different folks. Let's see here:

    Kiss-Psycho Circus (absolutely wretched)
Fast Times At Ridgemont High soundtrack (It was only five bucks but still.....)
Other than that, I'm pretty satisified with my CD collection

Steve Vai's Passion and Warfare. This album is the corniest piece of crap I've ever bought. It's like a combo of EvH and Yanni. Anyone know how his latest effort compares?

I heard a chunk of The Ultra Zone, his latest effort and sounded kind of new agey. What is with kick-ass shred guitarists? They hit the '90's and became New Age. Listen to Neal Schon's solo stuff!

First off, I never get rid of CD's. No matter how bad it is, if I get rid of it I'll end up wishing I'd kept it, even just for one song. But there are some bad ones.

Elvis-60's box set (should have bought the 50's one)
Counting Crows-Across a Wire (I prefer their studio work to this)

U2 - Achtung Baby: after records like Boy, October, War, The Unforgettable Fire, The Joshua Tree and Rattle and Hum there comes the most commercial attempt to win the charts. Such a bad record didn't deserve U2 attached to the label. They did worse with Zooropa and Pop actually...
Queensryche - Q2K. They told everyone that would have been a return to the glorious past. Shit! It's grunge meets boring...
Ratt - Ratt. Same reason as for Queensryche
    Lenny Kravitz - last record.
Steve Vai - Sex and Religion. The only thing I save from the record is Here and Now and Terry Bozzio on drums. Glad he left soon after the record (and was not kicked out....).
Yngwie Malmsteen - Inspiration. How to ruin every song he covered with flat versions, every second full covered with guitar solo, no dynamics and bad vocals too... Bleah!

MI-2 soundtrack...Limpdick Bisquick fucked the Mission: Impossible theme over very badly with those stupid rap lyrics

The only song on there I listen to is "I Disappear." And even then I shouldn't be listening to it cuz it's the song that ignited the whole Napster debate

Glenn, you defintely shoulda bought the Elvis 50's box set. IMO that one is a must have.

Everything after Elvis got out of the Army pales in comparison to his earlier work!

By the Way Vic Vega I agree about Psycho Circus. I bought that one and I think it's lousy. You know what is actually a GREAT Kiss album (even if it is not the original members): Kiss Revenge.

    That's a great one!

Not to change the subject, but I didn't mind Psycho Circus by KISS. Frankly, when I brought it home I wasn't expecting much, but I thought it was pretty good. Maybe it benefitted me to have low expectations, but all I hear is how everyone hates it. No big deal, I'm not a big KISS fan anyway, just throwing that in.

Glenn I think you hit the nail on the head with what you said about low expectations. Ya see, I had high expectations when I bought that album, so I'm sure that played a factor.

It's like getting a little too pumped up for a movie and going to see it. It may be a solid movie, but if your expectations are through the stratosphere then you will surely be disappointed!...Conversely, if you go into a movie expecting not much, you can sometimes be blown away by an above average movie....

Have you ever listened to Revenge Glenn? I'm not the hugest Kiss fan either..(only own Destroyer, Love Gun, Revenge and Psycho Circus) but I think that's a great album!!!

I guess I've probably heard about half of Revenge, and I'd say it's definitely better than anything they put out in the 80's. I've heard people complain that Psycho Circus is bad because Ace and Peter aren't on it very much, but frankly, I don't care about that. I'm not as up on KISS' 90's output, but I'd say Psycho Circus is WAY better than Lick It Up, Unmasked, Asylum, Animalize, Creatures of the Night or Crazy Nights. Just my opinion.

I actually would agree with you on that Glenn. Compared to those albums, Psycho Circus is way better....

Though I still maintain that Revenge is perhaps their best album ever....(even if Ace and Peter aren't on it) That album rocks hard! The only so so song on there is "God Gave Rock And Roll To You II" Which ironically is my least favorite Kiss song of all....(Imagine that, yet it's found on my favorite Kiss album)

    Isn't it Ironic?......Don't ya think?
