Van Halen is the greatest in my book , always will be but I can't let that blind me to other great bands and albums . My choice for album of the 1990's is U2 Achtung Baby .

I could rattle on about how great it is but the only thing I can tell you is if you have not heard it , go out and get it . You can listen to this from start to finish . There is no scraps of fatty meat on this CD .

    My top 3 90's CD's are
    1.U2 :Achtung Baby
    2.Creed :My Own Prison
    3.Van Halen :Live RHRN
These are just my personal faves ......

My favorites of the 90's are:
1.VH III(I don't care what you guys think,I love it and it has helped me writing my own stuff)
2.Extreme-Pornograffitti(this just fuckin' rocks! buy it immediatly while you wait for a Van Halen announcment)
3.Best Of Van Halen/The Ultimate Experience the Best of Jimi Hendrix- I think both of these are a good presetation for a regular person who wants to get into the band they have heard so much about......oh one more thing...Soundgarden "SuperUnknown" is great!

Here are my picks from my rock collection:

Jimmy Buffett Live! Feeding Frenzy - 1990
    U2 Achtung Baby - 1991
    The Police Live! - 1995
    Aerosmith Nine Lives - 1997
    Guns N’ Roses Live Era ‘87-’93 - 1999

There were also a plethora of awesome Greatest Hits packages and Box Sets that I could've filled this list with, but I felt guilty enough including 3 live albums!

With the exception of one album I'm going to list, I thought the whole grunge thing was an awful mistake, any of those boring, depressed, half-assed Seattle grunge bands can kiss my ass. Those guys made being depressed a "cool" thing!

    Stone Temple Pilots-Purple
    Def Leppard-Euphoria
    U2-Achtung Baby
Lenny Kravitz-Are You Gonna Go My Way
    Van Halen-Balance
    Rob Zombie-Hellbilly Deluxe

Vic, that last post was pretty depressing! Pass the Zoloft please...

STP is rock, not grunge (IMO). And those guys are great, I don't care what the critics say...

"Seize the day/pull the trigger/drop the blade/and watch the rolling heads/yeah.."

    Now, how is THAT depressing!?!?
