Ok, so I'm at the Tesla concert the other day, and in between sets, they were playing a cd-as usual. I heard a song that went like this:

The bridge had the line, "So I took a drag of my cigarette..."

The chorus was something like this, "Love, I don't need you, love lies in pieces on my floor...love walked out my back door."

I like this song, but don't know who sings it so I can't get the cd. I used to hear it on the radio back in 98, I think. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

If you do a search on the web you can probably find it on a Lyrics site. Although the best ones were shut down years ago by the friggin RIAA.
"There's a Japanese term called wabi-sabi, not wasabi, but wabi-sabi. It means an appreciation for the imperfect, the less than precision. The cowboy boots that you never polish because it's bad luck. That is completely wabi-sabi. Van Halen is that." - DLR 2002<br /><br />"Look! I can see their parachutes! They're ok..." - Tenshinhan, DragonBall Z

I can't help you with the tune you're looking for, but I would like to know how Tesla sounds these days. Out.

It's "Union", the band featuring John Corabi and Bruce Kulick. The track is "Love (I don't need it anymore)". It's off their debut CD which is really good.

So did Tesla rock the house or what, jonjuan? As judge Smells once said, Well...were waiting. Out.

I knew the song lyrics but for the life of me couldn't remember the title or artist, Trip! This is correct!

Tesla was killer. The problem is that the set was shorter than the last time I saw them. They also played a song, from their soon to be released album, called Heaven. It was only an ok ballad, but at least it was heavy. The other problem, is that they hardly play anything except what's on their greatest hits album, which has some killer stuff on it, but I'd like to hear some other stuff too. They did a cover of War Pigs which was the best I've ever heard, (except for the original)-way better than Warrant's version. It was cool because they had harmonizing guitars during the ending solo of the song. JK still has his voice-hasn't lost a step, which is quite an achievement for such a scratchy voice. the set included (if I remember correctly):

    Comin' atcha Live
    War Pigs
(can't remember the order after this)
    Gettin' Better
    Little Suzi
    Love Song
    Song and Emotion
    Heaven
    Mama's Fool
    Heaven's Trail
    Modern Day Cowboy

There might have been one or two others, but I can't remember.

Killer band who still has it
