I just saw G3 in Toronto a few hours ago, and it was great! It started out with John Petrucci who I didn't know much about, he was really good, his band was heavy! I have to say though his drummer Mike Portnoy was unbelievable!!! The last few songs he played I watched Mike more than John, he was that good!

    Then Steve Vai and Billy Sheehan came out. The first song they played was Shyboy with Billy on lead vocals! It was awesome!!! Steve and Billy high fived each other after the solo.

    Then they played several Vai solo tunes, which were great, and Vai and Sheehan had a Bass and Guitar duel that was the highlight of the night for me. Also their drummer Virgil Donati had an AMAZING drum solo that recieved a standing ovation! I was disapointed that they didn't play the Attitude Song. But Vai and Sheehan are the main reason I wanted to see the show. I am a big fan of both of them.

    Then Joe Satriani came out and was great, and then they had the encore. All three guitar players with Satch's band and Billy Sheehan joined them, man it was loud! They stared out doing La Grange by ZZ Top with Billy singing it! Then they did two Hendrix covers, and ended with Jeff Beck's Going Down.

    It was a great night! I didn't buy a shirt because they were $35.00 each, though I regret not buying one now.

    Okay, question time;

    1. How is Billy's singing voice?

    2. What venue did they play?

    3. How many people were there?

Live And Die from Alien Love Secrets, and For The Love Of God from Passion And Warfare. He also did two songs, I never heard before, they were good though.

    He also did a lot of cool stuff, like playing the guitar with his tongue and different animal sounds.
