I went to a Pearl Jam concert Tuesday and they're still the best there is. They played about 25 songs and they all kicked ass. Mike McCready is a great guitarist and Eddie Vedder has the best voice in all of rock.(most immitated voice also)

Pearl Jam?!? The best there is?? You better think twice about that statement dude. I can think of many bands that can stomp the shit out of Pearl Jam. As far as Eddie Vedder being the most imitated singer in rock...I don't think so. I believe that honor belongs to Robert Plant.

Obviously you've never been to a Van Halen concert.

It's good to have an opinion.....
I've never seen Pearl Jam in concert
so I don't know what kind of show they put on
and I also notice that there are alot
of Vedder sounding singers out there..
I even started a thread about it...
but you just wait til ya see VH in concert
-Vedder will need to wear a cup

Did Pearl Jam actually put out any albums after "Ten?" Must have missed them.

I feel like throwing myself in front of the oncoming "bash Pearl Jam" band wagon. so I'll just say, hey I like Pearl Jam!
Yeah, they had albums after Ten, but IMO none of it was any good.

I'm curious, who are all these singers imitiating Eddie Vedder besides that dude from Creed (who incidentally sounds much more like Scott Weiland, except for those "Higher" and "Arms Wide Open" tunes)? Don't know of any one else blatantly sounding like Vedder.

I haven't paid much attention to Pearl Jam in a while but I will say that VS is an amazing album, much better than their debut.

I'm with you Brett. I never understood who all these immitators are!? Pearl Jam is another GNR. They were a buzz for about 5 years with one huge album and fell off the face of the Earth pummeling to a horrible death. (Much like GNR after Appetite.)

I'm not much of a Pearl Jam fan anymore, but to their credit, I think it was their intention to fall off the face of the earth, GNR just crashed and burned.
