Sprinsteen is playing 5 shows here in Jersey in early December. He had a concert taped from MSG and played on HBO this year. He just released a DVD with I believe 11 additional songs which were not on the HBO concert. He also appeared on that special carried on every station in regards to the terrorist attacks.

My point is he keeps his fans interested and abreast of his ongoings. He is a good PR person.
Which is more than I can say for the lying Dutchmen.

Thank God Dave spoke out in April or we would have
heard nothing from Ed this year.

Speaking of Bruce and Van Halen, this comes from an article in the Rocky Mtn News today. Like they couldn't tell from the fans that Fiddlers sucks:

Disaster is always just a moment away for Felling. Bruce Springsteen, delayed by weather, arrived at the Pepsi Center just 20 minutes before hitting the stage for a sold-out show in March of 2000. Van Halen got three inches of snow in a 1995 Fiddler's concert that left the band ecstatic, the fans soaked, and the tour trucks stuck on slippery ramps. A Boston Pops concert had to be canceled after a cold front made it impossible to keep the violins in tune.

I taped that Springsteen concert on HBO, watched it, than I taped over it.

I thought it was terrible, he had a lousy set list.

I don't really like Springsteen that much. But I did buy his greatest hits on tape a while ago.

I havent seen the concert, nor have I ever seen Bruce live, I hear he is quite the showman.

I can listen to Bruce when in the mood. Really like songs like Rosalita, Jungleland, etc.

A lil Bruce is good for the musical diet.

I gave a listen to that latest double cd that Springsteen has out and I was really disappointed. I was glad I didn't buy it. On the other hand, the 3cd box set Live 75-85 is amazing, a must have.

Gotta agree with you on this one to some extent... I got the DVD, and Bruce as usual, turns in a kick ass performance. But he relied a little too much on the recent material and not enough of the older stuff.

Kinda his version of F.U.C.K. Live (RHRN) I guess?

    Welcome back, Van HALEN!!!!

...It's the BAND and Dave is really the cat that can front VH. He sang his ASS off and was really cool. No cheese here guys, this is filet Mignon! - Steve Lukather's comment after witnessing a Van HALEN 2007 rehearsal

I don't know if you can compare it to RHRN because F.U.C.K had a lot of hit singles on it. The most recent Springsteen hit I remember was The Streets Of Philadelphia, and that was released in 1993.
