'lost in the swamp?'--broham,I AM THE WHOLE SWAMP!!!!!!

    I Ain't Lyin'!!!!!!

I never heard the mighty Wolf sing "I Put A Spell On You," but who knows,he was known to sing whatever the hell he wanted,an ancient archaic toon,a pop song,a country blues,a Muddy Waters tuun,ya dig?

I guess it's cool to hear some blues in a commercial, but that's like listenin' to the intro's to a cd...I hate that 'still lookin' good' mess!

Screamin' Jay Hawkins--ya gots to check out "Cow Fingers and Mosquito Pie" which includes an alternate take of "I Put..."

I love dem ole blues...the facts of life...I got grasshoppers in my pillow...

Don't tell me... how the hell could a Muddy classic like "Gypsy Woman" escape the radar screen of such a pretentious blues blowhard "purist" as the Loon?!

"Well you know I went to a gypsy woman, to have my fortune told... she said you better go back home sonny, peek through your, your keyhole..."

I'd have to throw "Got my Mojo Workin'" in there too, for the textbook harp work, if nothing else. Gotta agree with "Rollin' 'N' Tumblin'" & "Mannish Boy" (THE classic Muddy tune), though, but I'd probably include "Blow Wind Blow" in my personal top 5. (SRV obviously listened to this one once or twice in his formative years... oh, wait... I forgot, I shouldn't mention Stevie, he's not even in the Blind Blues Loon's pantheon of "purist" blues greats, my bad! I mean, really... what did Stevie ever do for the blues? )

Sho' nuff, yezz yah... do be feelin' dem ol' gutbucket, soul-tuggin', jookhouse blooz down ta my shooz, wit da front porch soul 'n' da back porch boogie, yezz yah!

Sorry... I was momentarily possessed by the ghost of Scatman Caruthers!
