I was reading the review on melodicrock.com the other day, and I had to run and get it.

I've been playing his Nugeness' new CD at ear-splitting levels for the past 24 hours and I feel like I'm 16 all over again!

The Motor City Mad Man is back with probably his best album since he was a top grossing act in the seventies.

Gityerselfsumodisshit if you like huge guitar sound, expert playing and unequaled sonic assault from the self-proclaimed king of attitude.

This sure beats hoping for a VH album for half a decade!

you're bring up some memories i haven't had in a while. i'm thinking Super Jam in the late '70s, lots of smoke, couple of bottles... nice way to spend a lifetime one night

Either Nugent or Sammy Hagar headlined almost EVERY Texxas Jam in the late 70's and early 80's. At least they did until the Styx disaster in '83. Yikes.

I just picked up the new Ted Nugent myself! This CD just flat out ROCKS. It's just as heavy as any of the "nu-metal" out there, but the songwriting is vintage Ted.

Are yer ears bleeding yet, muddafukirs?

In all seriousness, I agree with Fast Eddie's statement.
The first song has that de-tuned thing going on and could bring masses of nu-metal listeners to the Nuge Man if it gets any airplay.

The rest of the Album is a balls-to-the-wall, shameless, unadultered nugefest like we haven't heard in years.

Now, where the F@#* is Eddie Van Halen?

Sounds good. I only have Ted's first three albums, and if the new one is more like his old stuff, I'm interested.

Dan Halen, Ted's new album has a little bit of everything for everyone.
The first song is obviously aimed toward the younger crowd, while the rest of the album is an amazing collection of classic Nugent riffs, with his incredible and distinctive guitar tone.
This is one really loud album! I can't stop playing it.
It makes me realize that even Van Halen could kick everyone's ass if they ever come back with good tunes and blow-your-doors guitar tone.
C'mon Eddie, crank that 5150 way up!

9th annual Whiplash Bash at Cobo Hall in Detroit...Ted throws out some meat he prepared for the rabid dogs in the audience...I caught a chunk, took a big bite, and passed on to my fellow Nuge-a-holics....
2001 Winter NAMM show...I run into Uncle Ted at the Peavey booth were he's killin' a 5150 amp...I go up to him and tell him that I wanted to thank him for throwin' out the flesh due to that I was real hungry before the show and didn't get a chance to eat...
Uncle Ted looks me in the eye and says; "I'm good with the flesh"....

    That's a great experience!
I only say Ted play live once, opening for KISS in L.A. a couple years back. I got a free tix for the concert, and couldn't care less about KISS, but I was really stoked about the Nuge.
He had Tommy Aldgrige doin' the drums for him. What a showman!
He didn't throw meat as far as I can remember though...
