Here are my choices for the best band in each decade dating back to the 60's:

1960's: Cream
1970's: Led Zeppelin
1980's: Van Halen
1990's: Soundgarden
2000's: Too early to tell

I'm interested in seeing everybody else's.

CHICAGO WHITE SOX - 2005 WORLD CHAMPIONS

The Chicago White Sox (1901-present) - The Original SOX - Proof

The Boston Americans (1901)
The Boston Somersets (1902)
The Boston Pilgrims (1903-1906)
The Boston Red Sox (1907-present) - Proof

The Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets whatever you want to call them, have NEVER displayed "SOX" anywhere on their caps, jerseys, or merchandise, therefore they shouldn't be referred to as such. However, the White Sox have used "SOX" since 1912.

The SOX are in Chicago...we just allow the Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets to use the name.

Whoa, how did I forget about The Beatles? I guess I was going by my favorite, not what was the most popular or best.

60's Cream
70's VH
80's VH
90's VH!
2000's Fuel

Sure there are other bands with lots of good music but does anyone really come close to VH?! Not in my view. If you meant more historical by this topic then my answers would be different, but if you mean which band made music I enjoy most during each decade then those are my answers. 50's: Buddy Holly and the Crickets (first real band to WRITE AND PERFORM all their music!)

60's: While the Beatles were the biggest, I think the Beach Boys were the best.

70's: Gotta go with the Bee Gees. Sorry, I just gotta!

80's: Van Halen. No reason.

90's: There's no honor in being the best of the worst.

00's: I bet it's someone we haven't heard about yet.
