Found this recent interview with former Journey manager Herbie Herbert on a fan site. A must read for Journey fans:
http://members.home.net/wtadpole/main.htm

If that doesn't work, go to www.esc4p3.com

Some really good inside stuff on Journey, including lots of things left out of the recent VH-1 Behind the Music deal. Apparently, Steve Perry had complete editorial control over the thing, so you only heard what he wanted you to hear. But Herbert sets the record straight, and then some.

BTW--brief VH mention concerning a tour they did with Journey and Montrose back around 78. Herbert said you could book the whole show for 5 grand total. Can you beleive that?

Not necessarily a big Journey fan, but that was a very interesting read.

That guy makes Steve Perry sound like the most evil person on earth!

Oh well, I think I like Augeri better.

That is a cool interview, I read some of it a few days ago, a link was posted on the Melodicrock Message Board.
