I heard on the radio yesterday that Peter Gabriel is releasing his first album in 10 years this November.

Now, I'm not a Gabriel fan, or hater for that matter, but that's a long time. The DJ even said jokingly, "Can you speed it up Peter?"

    Just food for thought!

Yeah, I've been following this for a little while. He's also going out on tour around that time as well. I'm really stoked about this. He doesn't put out crap, so this should be a great album (he's had ENOUGH time!!).

Yup. The new album is due in late June/early July and he will be touring this Summer.

I was just listening to "So" today. It really is well-made. It's almost a totally pretentious piece of slick Brit art snobbery, but it's just too good. I'll never get tired of "In Your Eyes". Of course whenever I think of that song I remember that scene in "Say Anything" with John Cusack in the rain, holding up the boombox.

Peter Gabriel is awesome. "So" is one of my favorite albums of all time (coincidentally, one of Eddie's favorites, too!).

    This is great news!

I like Gabriel too. He is so Unique, and his live shows are very theatrical and well done. You guys know he wrote some awesome stuff with Genesis WAY back when? Fly on a Windshield is an awesome tune!

Does anyone else know the new version of Carpet Crawlers that Peter and Phil Collins did with Banks, Rutherford and Hackett for the 1999 Genesis best of?!

    I think it's cool.

Yes, I heard it and it is very good. Makes you wonder what kind of great music a reformed Genesis could produce....

The cowboy boots that you never polish because it's bad luck. That is completely wabi-sabi. Van Halen is that." - DLR 2002<br /><br />"Look! I can see their parachutes!
