So... how many of you had ear losses for having been to concerts or because of playing at high volumes???
    I am one of those!
I always played at really high volume and near the cymbals... whoa...

But the best experience has been a VH concert:
1 hour in first row near edward's amp in a small club was devastating for my ears...
They have been ringing for 3/4 days...
But it was worth of it!!!

I was third row for VH on their Right Here, Right Now Tour and I was up against the PA speakers on Mike's side. WOW! What a thump! The vocals sounded bad, but the music mix was dead on. It sounded like I was underwater for 2 days.

I saw AC/DC this past summer and I thought it was too loud. Whenever Brian Johnson would sing, I could feel my whole ear compress. The old ears were ringing for a couple of days after that one.

You mentioned playing too loud, I'm assuming electic guitar. I play pretty loud, but I'm usually not in the direct line of the stack so it's not that bad. I do ocassionaly walk in front of the stack, near the drummer who wears headphones becuase he says my 5150 is too loud, and I must admit it's pretty devestating. I'm just glad I'm not the drummer!!!!!!!!! Cymbals and the 5150!!!!!!
