For a man who was critical of Eddie for hanging cigarettes from the end of his guitar, Sammy sure likes to sing about weed! Here's the ones I can think of, and their rank.

1. High Hopes
2. Amsterdam
3. Shockadobbie
4. The Yogi's so High

Let's not forget about the classic, "Yeah, I'll just throw about 10 pounds of weed on the fireplace, FUCK IT!" intro on "Give to Live" from RHRN. Might be the reason Sammy's voice took the serious hit it did from '91 to '95, and on from there. "Light 'em up, Sam!". Sam did promote the hell outta the doobidge!

Amsterdam is my fav of the genre. Can't you just picture Sam over there asking the guy behind the counter for some crack-weed? Plus Ed absolutely shreds throughout.

High Hopes comes in 2nd.

I wonder how many bongs Sam has. And in what shapes? Maybe a miniature Cabo Wabo with a few chimneys...

Shaka Doobie was pretty frickin' cool. The Yogi's So High got boring, hehe.

Amsterdam and High Hopes really rock. Shockadoobie is pretty good. I love the line, "I'm not trashed, I'm fuckin' wrecked!". Not a lyrical genius but pretty funny.

Shaka Doobie is actually about the day after Sammy's birthday, after Mas Tequila.

The line "everybody hates me and I hate myself" was written about when Sammy's wife and daughter were angry at Sammy for sleeping all day until 4:30 in the afternoon. Also, Sam hated himself for hurting himself the night before, by partying so much on Ten 13.

Let's not forget "Inside"....

"Maybe I'm crazy or just too high"

"Sittin' round just gettin' high, temporarily pacified, I guess life's must be more"

or the hidden soundbyte...."Mike, Mike what kind of shit did you give me last night"
