Hey! For those King's X fans out there, here is a download from http://www.kingsx.net/

This is from the 8-21-2002 Clearwater, FL Ruth Eckerd Hall gig. The track listing is...

1. I Can't Help You (2:29)(Jelly Jam recording pumped in between sets. Show actually starts with track 2)
2. Intro/Dogman (4:29)
3. Lost in Germany (4:39)
4. Cigarettes (8:18)
5. It's Love/ We Were Born To Be Loved (11:30)
6. Moanjam (7:33)

For those of you that are Guitar starved with Eddie being MIA, Ty tears it up on "Cigarettes". If your'e a KX fan (or soon to be fans) youll love this. Recorded from the board.

Download it here!

What's King's X up to now? I wanted to go see the King's X/Satriani/Dream Theater tour but I was afraid I would walk out with a serious complex about my guitar playing ability.

Awesome show here in Jacksonville a couple of months ago. Too bad King's X didn't get to play closer to a full set, everyone I've spoken to who saw the show agreed, even those who really didn't know much about 'em; King's X stole the show. No surprise to those of us who have seen them steal the show before, but definitely worth mentioning. Ty was even more "on" than usual, incredible groove and feel in some of the absolutely fuckin' smokin' extended solo work he did that night.

Thanks for the download link. I know very little about Kings X and this will give me an opportunity to get to know more about them.

I got to the L.A. Greek Theater too late to see their entire set with DT and Satriani, but I got a feeling they didn't suck.

I love King's X and it was great to hear tunes from Faith, Hope and Love, but something wasn't right with Doug's voice. It didn't even sound like him in several songs. Very strange.

Moan Jam rocked. It's criminal those guys aren't given their due.

I saw the show here in Dallas. It was pretty cool. I never really heard Kings X before. Dream Theater was kick ass, but too much for the senses. I was exhausted before Satch came out, and I was buzzed just enough from DT which played like an hour and half...

King's X are one of my favorite bands. I think I will see them with Dio, but I want to see them on their own again, headlining somewhere. The last time I saw them was in Feb 2002, and they played for 2 hours and 20 minutes!!!!! They kicked ass as always.

Good lord, his voice sounds like complete CACA!!!
Loosing some respect for the band. It sounds like he was trying to mess up and make his voice sound stupid. Anyone know the deal?? Was this a case of fans being fooled by voice fixing in the studio.

And what's with the "We've come to kick your ass" statement? Anyone who knows King's X background knows why I am asking.
Van Halen without the original 4 is just not Van Halen.

I, as well as many here, have seen KX live and Doug didn't sound like that. I don't know if he was trying to sing like that or if some effect was on his voice. It sounded terrible, whatever it was.

As far as the cussing goes, Doug has cussed from the beginning. They never were a christian band, although in the beginning they were believers. Last I heard, Ty is the only one who still professes he believes. Doug has come out and is now a practicing homosexual.
