Last night, myself, my wife and another couple went to see "A Walk Down Abbey Road" at the Cape Cod Melody Tent and man was that ever a great fucking show.

Todd Rundgren, Alan Parsons, Christopher Cross, Jack Farner(Grand Funk Railroad) and Jack Bruce(Cream). Along with another damn good guitarist, keyboardist and a kick ass drummer named Steve Murphy.
They started out with a couple Beatles tunes then each played their own Beatles song then a couple of their own hits.
Highlights were Bruce on "Whiteroom", and Rundgren's "While My guitar Gently Weeps" (they did a couple of George's songs as a tribute to him.)
If these guys come to your town, and if you are a fan of The Beatles, go check them out.
Cross & Rundgren were about as close to John & Paul as you can get right now, they blended perfectly together.

dude! I saw that Beatles show a few weeks ago here in Chicago!

I thought Christopher Cross and Jack Bruce did a great job.

that guy with the skullet from Grand Funk was kinda lame

and that Parsons guy couldn't sing for shit.--but he did play the theme song to the Chicago Bulls(the "#23 Michael Jordan!!!!!!!" song )

I liked how they did a couple of songs from their own stuff as well as Beatles songs

when I saw them, Todd Rungren wasn't playing with them

That Alan Parsons tune (the Bulls Jordan theme) theme is called Sirius. The "Alan Parsons Project" is an awesome band. If you are into progressive music the likes of Genesis or Pink FLoyd then the "Alan Parsons Project" might be of interest. He also helped produce Dark SIde of the Moon. ( sorry bout the Dr Evil "quotes" around "Alan Parsons Projoect")
