Has anyone on the forums got into Bad Company? Their debut album from 1974 might be a little dated but you gotta see their new DVD called "Merchants of cool". Paul Rodgers has never sounded so better. You gotta hear "Seagull", if that dont give you chills nothing will. Even the song "Bad Company" rocks. Paul Rodgers has gotta be up with some of the best frontmen around.

I saw a Bad Company reunion concert at the MCI center in D.C .in 1999. Roth was the opening act. But I think Rogers is the most underrated Lead Vocalist of that era. Mostly because of his demure nature on stage. He sounded as good as he did 30 years ago. What a great Rock-Blusey voice he has. I wished that he and Bad Company would do some new stuff. They did seagul to, he said it was one of the most requested songs of there catalog. He played all the instruments on that song.

He played all the instruments on the recorded version or all the instruments at the concert (which would seem kind of hard, but I don't know what kind of instrumentation is involved though I'm pretty sure I've heard the song)?

On the first Bad Company album. It's a 2 track acoustic guitar song, he and Mick Ralphs did the guitars in concert. It's one of those great simple acoustic songs from a great 70's band. Similar to Zep's going to California.
