Yeah, I just saw Mellencamp in concert last night, and I was quite impressed. He played for nearly two hours, only one song from his new album, which was alright with everybody. He was flyin all over the stage all night.

I gotta say, for a chain smoking grandfather with a heart condition, the dude sure did put on a good show.
Gozer the Traveller will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a very large and moving Torb. Then of course in the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.

I saw John back in the early 90's, and it was one of the best shows I have ever been to.

He has some great live tunes, and he puts on a great show !!

I saw him in '92 in Hartford and really enjoyed the show. The man really worked hard the entire night.

Mellencamp does kick ass! His music has always been good to listen to drunk with a piece of ass on your arm.

Well, this is one of the concerts (or musicians) I've been dying to see and I secured some pre-sale tickets that will get me in the first few rows. I really can't wait for this! He is one of the few performers that I will not want to leave the floor for because he has such a collection of great songs. I didn't know if I'd get the chance to see him but now it's a sure thing! I'm gonna make a party of this!

I guess as old as this is, I could've just started a new thread, lol.

Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

Q: who was the biggest douche that you have worked with?

A: Eddie Van Halen hands down he threatened all the stage hands that if we wernt all pushed to the side when he got off stage that he would "bash our faces in"

Now the new David-Lee-Roth-Van Halen album, “Tokyo Dome In Concert,” is available for purchase, and it’s super, super, super, super, super, super, crazy bad. - Doug Elfman

It is the "Words and Music" tour, so yes-the greatest hits! With Fogerty. This is the second leg of this tour, so I don't know if he'll be heading your way.

I think he's lost his muse with these last few records, but Uh Huh, Scarecrow, and The Lonesome Jubilee make one of the greatest hat tricks in rock history, imo...

Hmmm. If I want to place postcards on the seats at the venue promoting his upcoming re-masters, they'll let me in early and I'll get to see the soundcheck (with probably no John). What do you think?

Tonite was the best fuckin' concert (behind Van Halen) I've ever seen. What a blast. If you don't experience this, you lose. Simple as that.
