This is a sad day, he was also a party buddy of VH (Bocephus) and I will never forget him on the Bundy's as Iron Head Hank the guy that the clan of NO MAAM went to seek the great advice of.

As a youth I listened to a lot of Waylon Jennings. I think my Dad must have had every album that he made. I remember getting The Outlaws back in the 70's for my Birthday 1 year.

Waylon was great on the Dukes of Hazzard !!

What a great voice.

RIP Waylon !!

I just checked, and it was Hank Williams, Jr. that sang "My Name Is Bocephus", and featured Van Halen (complete with a bald Alex) in the video of the same name.

This is really sad. I'm not what you'd call a country music fan but I'd have to say Waylon was a legend. My father is the biggest cm fan you could ever meet. I felt really bad for him when he heard the news. It was only about a month ago that I read that Waylon had to have a foot amputation due to diabetes. I sure wasn't expecting to hear news of his death. Rest in peace Waylon!

What a way to wake up, to find the passing of a great legend. I'm not a big country fan but he was what great country music was about. He was like the Dale Earnhardt of country music... an outlaw. I grew up listening to him because of my Dad as well, and I really loved his work with the Highwaymen. Is a sad day.
And beyond the horizon.... a sound was heard.

What is the music world going to do now that one of the original outlaws is dead? A truly sad day.
