Anybody interested in reading this? I haven't paid a lot of attention to the Crue in quite awhile, but I'm really interested in checking this book out. It's called "The Dirt" and I think that they may be one of the few bands that will actually give you a pretty straight story on their experiences. There's a few passages from the book over at Hardknockz, one of which mentions David Lee Roth.

I'm interested to see how much is mentioned about Vince's car accident in the mid 80's.

I wouldn't mind checking it out. Granted, I know the story of how they got together and all that stuff courtesy of Behind the Music, but I'd like to read the sordid details that the tv special didn't cover.

I didn't check out Marilyn Manson's book. Did anyone else read this one? I heard it wasn't even good enough to use as toilet paper...that's just what I heard!!!!

This should be an interesting book for sure.
Hopefully they go beyond all the stories that we have already heard.

FYI - there are excerpts from the book in the new Rolling Stone magazine. It has Tommy and Pamela on the cover.

If you go to the Rolling Stone magazine web site, they have some of the book sections quoted there. The first section is from Vince, which is mostly related to the early days of the band. The rest of it is from Tommy, and it deals almost exclusively with the Pam/Tommy relationship.

I got that magazine today, and the only thing different that isn't on that site is that the Tommy part is much longer in the magazine. Frankly, I'm much more interested in reading about the exploits of the band than about their celebrity dating games.

CK, I read the Marilyn Manson book, but I really don't remember that much about it. Dude is a little too negative for my tastes.

What I want to hear about is the John Corabi situation.
