I-Your Time is Gonna Come
II-Thank You
III-That's The Way
IV-When the Levee Breaks
Houses of the Holy-The Rain Song
Physical Graffiti-The Rover
Presence-Nobody's Fault But Mine
In Through the Out Door-Fool in the Rain
Coda-Wearing and Tearing

That's hard to choose. To be honest, I don't really care for the first two Zeppelin albums, I don't think they really got on their feet until III, which is my favorite along with Physical Graffiti.

Okay, I have been watching this thread with curiosity, as Led Zep is one of my favs for sure.

Here would be my picks, subject to change :

LED ZEPPELIN I - Good Times Bad Times
LED ZEPPELIN II - The Lemon Song
LED ZEPPELIN III - Tangerine
LED ZEPPELIN IV - Misty Mountain Hop
HOUSES OF THE HOLY - The Rain Song
PHYSICAL GRAFFITI - Custard Pie
PRESENCE - (I'd have to listen again)
IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR - South Bound Saurez
CODA - Poor Tom

Led Zeppelin III is my favorite release. Always has been. Some really great work by Page and the band on that release.

I love seeing the old black and white footage of Zep. What a rock band, no doubt.

I really thought Plant did well as a solo artist too.

Led Zeppelin: Good Times Bad Times

Led Zeppelin II: Whole Lotta Love

Led Zeppelin III: Gallows Pole

Led Zeppelin IV: Stairway To Heaven

Houses Of The Holy: Over The Hills And Far Away

Physical Graffiti: Kashmir

In Through The Out Door: All Of My Love

I don't care much about Led Zeppelin after Houses Of The Holy, that was their last great album I think.

"Hey hey what can I do" isn't on Coda -> it's the B-side to "Immigrant Song."

I agree with 79th and Sunset, Led Zeppelin III is a fantastic album. This is precisely why Led Zep was the greatest band ever, because of their ability to do acoustic/folk/country songs and still make it rock hard with an attitude. Here's my list:

Led Zeppelin I - Dazed And Confused
Led Zeppelin II - Ramble On
Led Zeppelin III - That's The Way
Led Zeppelin IV - When The Levee Breaks
Houses Of The Holy - The Rain Song
Physical Graffiti - The Wanton Song
Presence - Nobody's Fault But Mine
In Through The Out Door - Fool In The Rain
Coda - Poor Tom

Those of you who don't have Led Zeppelin boots don't know what you're missing. Make it a point to find "Swan Song," "Take Me Home," the other three versions of "In The Light," and "As Long As I Have You" (a long song from their 1969 concerts).

Oh, it is on Coda... at least on the Coda version of the Complete Studio Recordings box set (which I call my own).

So... you really want me to pick just ONE single song from each Led Zep album?! Now that's a fuckin' tough one!

Ok, here we go:

Led Zeppelin: Dazed & Confused
Led Zeppelin II: Bring It On Home
Led Zeppelin III: Celebration Day
Led Zeppelin IV: Stairway To Heaven
Houses Of The Holy: No Quarter
Physical Graffiti: The Rover
The Song Remains The Same: Whole Lotta Love
Presence: Achilles Last Stand
In Through The Out Door: Carouselambra
Coda: Wearing & Tearing
BBC Sessions: How Many More Times (disc one), Going To California (disc two)

That's all folks.

Think of it this way, it's easier than picking only one favorite song. I noticed I forgot to include a few live albums:

The Song Remains The Same: Rock And Roll
BBC Sessions: Travelling Riverside Blues
