This is like trying to pick between mini-Nirvana and mini-Pearl Jam.
They both have good songs but I would have to go with STP on this one. Dean and Robert DeLeo come up with some cool riffs and Dean usually throws a nice solo in there somewhere. I'm not a big fan of Weiland because of his vedder impersonations in the early 90's (although he has his own style now).
Gavin and Nigel seems like they keep recycling the riffs on "sixteen stone" but I like em just the same anyway. Bush is cool because they still have that flat-out distorted grunge sound on most of their songs and there aint nothing wrong with that.

This is pretty hard, but I'll say STP.

Yeah, STP all the way. They are a much more dynamic band than Bush could ever be.

STP for sure. They put on a hell of a show also. Weiland is a great frontman. I would love to see STP open for VH on the next tour.

Any of you guys have the latest Bush album,"The Science Of Things"? It is a much better album than STP's "No.4"

    No I haven't fully. I think I heard a single on the radio(nothingcomesbetweenus?)

No.4 totally kicked my ass the first time I heard it. I thought it was cool the way SW recorded some tracks while he was in prison.

I fuckin hate "No.4" for some reason. It just doesn't sound like STP to me, but then again "The Science Of Things" doesn't sound like classic Bush either.

    Bush sucks shit!

And I don't care for Gavin Rossdale's band either

As for Clone Pimple Toilets (a.k.a.. Stone Gossard Pirates) they actually have improved during the alternating years that Weiland can stay out of jail and/or rehab.

I think he and Robert Downey must have a contest going.
