Maybe (probably) I'm alone here, but does any one else here think these guys are fuckin' cool? I took out their old greatest hits CD today and I forgot how much I loved this group. I don't even like Zoot Suite Riot all that much any more. As for the rest of the CD something about the lyrics about pimps, philanderers, an abusive father, and slutty women with tongue and cheek as well as overtly sexual lyrics with that swing music in the background is just cool to me. The weird thing about it is I hate all other music considered ska.

    Dude,

I'm no ska fan, either, but check out the group Ozomatli live if they play in your area. F*cking awesome band. Better yet, bring a gal with you. The after-show sex-fest figures to be more intense than the norm...

I really only know their stuff from the greatest hits collection. I love Zoot Suit Riot and Ding Dong Daddy of the D-Car Line. Great, fun album.
"There's a Japanese term called wabi-sabi, not wasabi, but wabi-sabi. It means an appreciation for the imperfect, the less than precision. The cowboy boots that you never polish because it's bad luck. That is completely wabi-sabi. Van Halen is that." - DLR 2002<br /><br />"Look! I can see their parachutes! They're ok..." - Tenshinhan, DragonBall Z

I love these guys. See 'um live if you get the chance. I've seen them twice and it was a blast!

That's the way it's always been and that's the way it will always be. Because without the music, what is there? Nothing. There's nothing without the music. You can't even cop an attitude without the music (laughs).
