I heard the song "Wait" yesterday, and I always dug that tune, and some other White Lion material. IMO I always thought that Vitto Bratta was one of the only guitar players, maybe besides Nuno, that could pull off the Eddie Van Halen style of playing well. He always came up with interesting and melodic rhythms, and I do love the solo in "Wait". Also, I always though that Vitto shared and "uncanny" resemblance to Ed....ya know what I mean???

Too bad Vito hurt his wrist while playing the guitar in a fashion that was unorthodox to typical positions...he said he was playing classical type music and somehow something in his wrist snapped and he couldn't play the guitar for 4 years.
He was playing laying down and his guitar was up in the air (with his wrist bent to finger the chords then SNAP!) OUCH.....
I also think he was a great guitarist with much more to give (than the hairband image). He had (has) true talent...let's hope for a full recovery soon!.
Just go for it!

I agree. Vito was very good and was the only reason that White Lion was half assed respected. Little Fighter was one of their best tunes ever in my opinion.

I didn't know he hurt his hand though. Interesting stuff Brew Crew. Out.

I didn't hear that story about him hurting his hand. Was it kind of a "show-off" thing he was doing on stage or was he just lying around at home?

I put in the White Lion GH a few days ago and it's true about him being a good Eddie clone. The boy has definitely got some chops! Little Fighter is no doubt one of their best songs and honestly, I never saw why it was never more acclaimed due to it's Green Peace tie-in.

I'd still like to hear a DLR / Vito union on the next round of VH tribute shows, though. I bet Vito would rock da house on Unchained and HFT!

They do a kick ass, smokin' version of "Radar Love" on that same album as "Little Fighter". It was Big Game, wasn't it? Also like that "Comin' Home Tonight".

At the time, I really wanted to like them, but I could never get past the poser for singer, Tramp. He was the reason I catogorized WL with the rest of the glam geeks.

He's really good.

I would like to see Vito play for David Lee Roth, or Sammy. I like his style better than Vic's.

Cabo Kid: Vito didn't play guitar from '95 to '97.. he then started right in to classical music at the speed he used to play. He was lying in bed playing with his guitar in an upright position and then he heard a snap. He hasn't been able to play since and may never play again....surgury is an option. sorry 'bout the bad news dudes.
I liked the song hungry and all you need is rock and roll AND the linkers favorites...Little Fighter (great solo)

He can't play because he can't move his hand left to right to play the guitar.
He wants to....but he is contemplating surgery.
He feels that he has done good in the guitar land of shredders and he only has memories for now. This is depressing..what a great talent gone down the drain....I wish I could make it better because I thought he was awesome! He made squeals and screams come out of his guitar that I still have a hard time re-creating!
Just go for it!
