I was trying to list all the concerts Ive seen over the past 14 years when I saw my first concert ( Phil COllins). I thought it would be neat to know who everyone's top 5 were. Mine were in no particular order

Pink FLoyd - Division Bell Tour 1994
G3 - Satch, Vai and Johnson - (cause I was in 9th row)
VH 3 tour - cause they sang Dave era tunes
Metallica - And Justice FOr all 1989
Jimmy BUffett - any show of the 5 times ive seen him are worth mentioning.

    1) Van Halen 2004 - Montreal, PQ
    - I had first row seats for one of the last shows of the tour. Sound was great, soundcheck was great, beer was great, fellow linkers were greater, Mike giving me his pick right in my hand was great, and Eddie giving me his pick while giving me a high-five and giving me a wink at the sametime was the best.

    2) Bon Jovi 2003 - Giants Stadium, New Jersey
    - 80,000 people, hot summer night, after-party in NYC, a phsycho cab driver and an evening with Bon Jovi. It was awsome.

    3) The Rolling Stones 2003 - Montreal, PQ
    - It was the Stones, my best friend and I just touring the building, drinking brew and listening/watching them from every angle in the building.

    4) Metallica/Limp Bizkit/Linkin Park "Summer Sanitarium 2003" - Montreal, PQ
    - I've seen Metallica this year on 2 seperate occassions but just for the day alone this show was worth it. Outdoors, 75,000 people, I was baked in the sun, bruised from moshers, sand-soaked clothes and skin, lots of beer, lots of booty, and a ton of loud music regardless of whether they were good bands or not, it was a really cool day. I went just for Metallica, but got to know a few other bands that I've grown to enjoy, too.

    5) Ozzy Osbourne 2001, 2003 - Ottawa, ON
    - I was first row in the GA pit for both shows. Both times I saw them, they were different bass players. The first time it was Robert Trujillo (Metallica) and the second time it was Jason Newsetad (Metallica/Viovod). Zakk Wylde blew my mind and the amount of time Ozzy spend on stage the second show (3 hours and 20 mintues) and the Black Sabbath medley were just off the hook.

    5) Van Halen 2004 - Toronto, ON
    - Probably the best weekend ever. My buddy and I went down to Toronto for the show and as usual with every concert I go to, I like to be at the venue about 2-3 hours ahead of time. We ended up doing so and also snuck into the building at 3 p.m. before anything started. We saw the crew put everything together, light up the amps, pound on the drums, jam out a few riffs ect.. No Van Halen before 8:30 p.m. but it was a pretty cool deal getting kicked out of the building after just sitting for an hour without being noticed. lol On top of sneaking into the building, encounters with Montreal Allouette cheerleaders (another story all together), pubs and cars around the city blasting Van Halen, and the overall buzz, it was of the most memorable shows for the linkers on this tour if not the most talked about, anyway. I'm sure I can speak for Jetguy, EVH_316_5150, Motionblur, spin, Hatch,(maybe Montreal for him, not sure...lol) and Barney on that one.

I could go on with a list of 100 more shows that were awsome to me, but it only say 5...

So many...... How about, Top 5 I can think of right now

    In no order:

    1. Van Halen - 5150 Tour (My first concert ever, what a way to start)

    2. Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood tour (Alpine Valley both nights, they filmed the "Same Ol Situation" video those nights)

    3. Aerosmith - Permenant Vacation Tour (At Alpine Valley, Guns N Roses opened. Jon Bon Jovi came out and did the encore with Aerosmith....amazing night all around)

    4. KISS - First "Reunion Tour" in 1996 Say what you want about KISS, you get your money's worth when those 4 guys hit the stage

    5. Eagles - Hell Freezes Over Tour 1994

So many others....Bon Jovi Keep the Faith tour, Ozzy w/Rob Zombie opening, DLR-Eat'em and Smile Tour, U2 Popmart Tour, Guns N Roses Use Your Illusion Tour, VH- Balance Tour,......
