I'm sorry but I JUST don't like these guys AT ALL.

So I'm watchin' their little VH1 "Opening Night" thing and what are the first words I hear out of Ruth Buzie's mouth?? "RRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I feel........rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr My head(pronounced 'hea'yrrrrrd"

and could this kid sound ANY MORE like Seattle circa 1991???

I did catch part of the interview part of the show and the drummer seemed like a pretty good guy.

I know there are some people around here like these guys(usually the Van Hagar faithful, but that's for another thread)

anyway, BOO! Creed sucks, their crowd maybe had was an average age of 16(which would mean they were 6 yrs old during the "Seyeahhhhhhrttle" Years so they don't see the connection

but I see it.

And I guess Scott Sappy had seen it when that guy came up to him and pulled his card.

...waiting for the next REAL thing to come along

I've never understood everybody's take on this "seattle sound" that Creed has.....Stapp may sound like Vedder at times.......but the band is too heavy to be compared to anything put out during the Seattle thing.....Tremonti lays down some mean riffs.
Actually I think most of us are Dave, Sam, and Mike fans. There's just a small group of people who have strange allegiances and like to get into petty pissing contests that I can't believe everyone on this site isn't bored of. - Brett

Whatever. Their tunes are uninentive, their style is boring, and the singer is an absolute joke. You know what dude? Get over yourself. How over produced and embarrassingly over dramatic is that clown? Four words to describe Creed; Flavor of the Month. Another lame band in a long line of many lame bands to come along in the past ten years that have absolutely nothing to offer. Please, please, PLEASEgo the fuck away.

Anyways, I know what you mean FORD. I feel the same way about Kenny Wayne Shepard in relation to SRV. Some of the newer guitar kids think he's a guitar god, but he just totes around the SRV ammo belt....poser.

I watched some of that show, and they were pretty dull.

Creed's guitar player's stage presence annoys me, he always looks angry when he's playing, I wonder what he is so angry about.

I don't think they are a grunge band, they sound more like an average 80's Hard Rock band to me. They have a couple of good songs though.

Creed is a band that is sooo much like Seattle meets Greed! They think they rule the world and the guitarist said he can shred!
What the FUCK.....He better start shredding and acting like a guitarist than some greedy fucker that plays to get paid! true musicians? NOPE....not in my book...money making greedy slimy wanna bee's...Yep!
Creed is all over the radio waves because of: part-religion and 16 year old chicks with growing tits! What a scenario to be in....CREED: pick one and you will lose!
Choose 16 year old boobies: you will lose!
Choose Religion: You will not be played any more: Look at Stryper!
Excuse me if you think I am wrong but just wait and see if Creed can write the same lame song over and over again!
SHIT, I can't even tell which album these songs come from that are blasting on the radio!!!!!
They all sound the same to me!
what ever happened to growing and improving your style.
VH needs to come out with NEW!!!!!SOON!!!!!
Just go for it!

Silly rabbit, CREED is for kids.

I've always maintained you'll never find soul in a stack of dead presidents.

Oh, and I have to dispute that Creed is heavier than anything to come out of Seattle. Cue up Sick Man from Alice N Chains and then lets talk.

Creed, heavy, HA. That's rich!

I guess I am a sucker for a song with a big "hook" and a guitar riff.

That's a pretty damn long month, since it's been going on since 1999, hmm?

I was actually impressed with their VH1 gig. I've never been into Creed but damn they actually are playing instruments on stage. As much as some gripe about boybands and Brittany Spears you ought to be happy an actual band is playing. Hell I was looking for the turntables. The guys seems relatively clean cut. I would venture to say you could actually play their albums with kids around. I dunno about you guys, but I can do without the constant anger/cursing/dark angle alot of these bands want to relay. Does every successful band have to be addicts? Just as VH has a sound they have their own sound. I believe it was Angus Young that said none of their AC/DC albums sounded that different because it was just their style. What's wrong with that?

Well, in terms of musical careers when referring to bands that I feel most people on this site would think great, 2 years ain't dick. All the teeny-boppers listening to this MTV whore band will undoubtedly realize what a sell-out joke this group is. Trust me, in the near future we may see "Creed" flavored Pepsi. Brittany Spears, Limp Bizkit, Creed; same shit.
