Damn right! One in a million is one killer tune to end all killer tunes. As for the question why? Slash rips it up to no end on the solo. The hulkamaniac brother is taking me back to some burly times talking about that song. Out.

Nightrain has always been a GNR favorite of mine. I love the riff, chorus, and outro solo. Also good lyrics and singing by Axl.

I don't know about favorite but what comes to my mind right now is Welcome To The Jungle. When I saw GNR on the MTV awards and Buckethead played that opening riff chills went down my spine. It was fantastic until Axl started singing.

Only when I recall the horrid memory that was the Hulkster sporting a pink tutu in Mr Nanny. That was fucking wrong!

IMO, Nightrain is the tune that Buckethead can nail the best out of what I've heard so far.

    As for fave songs:

    Appetite:

Nigthtrain, Rocket Queen, Think About You, Mr. Brownstone

Lies: Mama Kin, Used to Love Her, Patience, One in a Million (despite Axl's rather distasteful lyrics...)

    Use Your Illusion I & II :

Civil War, Pretty Tied Up, Dead Horse, Don't Damn Me, Garden of Eden (that's the one with Alice Cooper, right?)
    The Spaghetti Incident:

    This album SUCKED!

    Live Era 87 - 93:

Just about anything. I thought this was an awesome live album.

The entire Appetite For Destruction album is a MASTERPIECE of rock music in my opinion.

The group's later stuff was decent too, a bit hit and miss compared to their amazing debut!

CAN YOU DIG THAT HULKAMANIAC BROTHER???? (lol)

No, the one with Alice is just called The Garden.

Appetite is a top to bottom classic. But I'd probably take Dead Horse as a favorite.

Getting of the subject slightly , I saw GNR in `87 when they were still nothing , opening for the Cult and they were easily the best opening act I`d ever saw . The Cult were great but GNR had so much raw energy and hunger back then , they flat out ROCKED!!!!!!. In `88 they saw fame and money and Axls head got so big it couldn`t fit in the limo and the last 4 times I saw them live they couldn`t come close to that `87 show .
You may think I`m being mean but I`m really just being sarcastic
