The subject speaks for itself, thank ya very much!
CHICAGO WHITE SOX - 2005 WORLD CHAMPIONS

The Chicago White Sox (1901-present) - The Original SOX - Proof

The Boston Americans (1901)
The Boston Somersets (1902)
The Boston Pilgrims (1903-1906)
The Boston Red Sox (1907-present) - Proof

The Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets whatever you want to call them, have NEVER displayed "SOX" anywhere on their caps, jerseys, or merchandise, therefore they shouldn't be referred to as such. However, the White Sox have used "SOX" since 1912.

The SOX are in Chicago...we just allow the Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets to use the name.

What do you know? Seriously.

Ever been to a bar during karaoke? I saw some dude sing Separate Ways just like Steve Perry. He drew the whole fuckin' bar! Everyone loved it. You, FORDIEPOO, are in the minority.

Seriously, Timmy.... probably considerably more than you. But that comes from living in the real world a few years. You'll get your chance real soon, if you're about to graduate.

Ever been to a bar during karaoke?

Yeah. Sometimes I even get drunk enough to sing.

I saw some dude sing Separate Ways just like Steve Perry. He drew the whole fuckin' bar!

Last time I was at the karaoke bar, in fact, someone was trying to spread the rumor that Steve Perry had died that day of throat cancer. I told him he was full of shit. The guy you saw might have been Steve "the Clone" Augeri. I got nothing against the late 70's - early 80's Journey. They just went Velveeta after Jonathan Cain joined. He did the same thing to the Babys.

Everyone loved it. You, FORDIEPOO, are in the minority.

Journey FOOKIN RULES!!!!!!

"Journey" at this point is nothing but a name like "Deep Purple" or whatever that one guy uses to make money off a band that is in reality, long gone. And if I'm in the "minority", then why did Sony records drop "Journey" after over 30 years with the label (counting the years Schon & Rolie spent with Santana)

Once again, any "pussification factor" in Journey's music was there because of Perry not Cain. Yes, I know Cain wrote/co-wrote "Open Arms" and "Faithfully". So what? They're both damn good songs and are responsible for getting alot of Broads off and that's always a good thing. Perry hamstrung Schon's guitar with alot of his wimpy lyrics and music on alot of songs i.e. "Who's Cryin' Now". Schon's playing some great guitar now without Perry around.

As far as them being Journey in name only, hell Schon started that band not Perry. He can call it anything he wants including Journey, that's his name.

Also the Baby's best stuff was with Cain, i.e. "Union Jacks".

I think Journey rocks! I like them because they are so melodic. I like their heavier stuff like Escape, Be Good To Yourself, Anyway You Want It, Higher Place, Seperate Ways (Worlds Apart) Ask The Lonely etc.

Higher Place is one of the greatest things I have ever heard in my life!!! That song is incredible!!!

I also love their new DVD, it's incredible how great they sound live, wicked harmonies, great singing, awesome musicians!

Journey only ruled with Perry. Not Aguilari, or whatever.

While i'll agree they did do some sappy tunes, they did however crank out some rockers. Check out Edge of The Blade. This is one of my favorite "sleeper" Journey tunes, eh.

If it's sharpe, if it cuts, enjoy yourself!

I'm doing good Balanced. How are you? I saw Blade II last night, it's wicked! Great fights in it, it was pretty gory though.

Yeah, I can't wait for those Planet Us songs. I hope that they can make an album soon. I'm sure that it will be great!

I'm aight thanks. Ya like all that gore eh? I kinda wanna go see Time Machine myself.

As far as Planet Us goes, Mike's statement saying "It's got Sammy's killer pipes all over it" is enough to get my attention. Know what i'm sayin?
