The writer makes some very good points in cases for and against.
then says that there are more pros than cons and that they belong there.
Interesting read if anyone has a chance to see it.

This Hall Of Fame is a joke and so was Aerosmith's SuperBowl performance, so I'd say yeah!

I think they deserve to be in the RRHoF. 'Rocks' and 'Toys in the Attic' are 2 of the ALL TIME great rock albums. Rocks is like Fair Warning to me. It's actaully better and it came out about 5 years earlier than FW.

Aerosmith deserves the Hall of Fame for what they accomplished in the 70's. AeroSHIT deserves to be shot for what they have done the last 10 years.

Doing "Big 10 Inch" on Saturday Night Live was a nice attempt at redeeming themselves, but it is not nearly enough to overcome the embarrassment of that Super Bowl shit.

The same pretty much applies to VH if you extend 70s to 1984

I agree that Aerosmith should be in the Hall because of what they did in the 70's. I've recently been listening to their stuff on Get Your Wings, Toys In The Attic, and Rocks and that's some great music.

Seasons of Wither is great. And Nobody's Fault off of Rocks, another good one. I just got an Aero boot from 6/75 NYC. It's right before Toys is released, I believe. It sounds great, sdbd: S.O.S (Too Bad), Somebody, Dream On, Write Me, Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, No More No More, Same Old Song And Dance, Toys in the Attic, Train Kept A Rolling. Happy to trade if anyone is interested.
