Worked the Tool show last night at Cox Arena on the SDSU campus. Man, they rocked even harder than when I saw them in L.A. a few months ago.

This band is, without a doubt, the most creative, innovative, and intense band I have ever seen live. Granted, Maynard needs to give the audience some face time, but I'm sure that's what adds to the band's allure.

They put on a kickass show, and they were videotaping for a live DVD release later next year. It won't be a DVD of their show in San Diego, rather they're videotaping 6 shows, compiling the best footage from each, and then editing it all down into one show.
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

"This is a lttle prayer dedicated to the separation of church and state. I guess if they are going to force those kids to pray in schools they might as well have a nice prayer like this: Our Father who art in heaven, and to the republic for which it stands, thy kingdom come, one nation indivisible as in heaven, give us this day as we forgive those who so proudly we hail. Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen. ."

A Tool DVD. Awesome! I should have gone to see them live but didn't have the cash. I could have used that 40 dollers I've saved from not buying the two VH albums they should have had out by now.

ah man, tool is by far my favorite band...i would love to see 'em put out a live dvd. I never pass up an opportunity to see 'em live and a dvd would be a dream come true.
Gozer the Traveller will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a very large and moving Torb. Then of course in the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.
