The first post of this thread below is the only important one. The guy who posted it reports a lot of news, and knows his stuff. Don't know the track listing though. 2cd's, and since I don't have much Aero stuff, I'd probably grab this.

Another one? Don't they already have two greatest hits albums? Oh well, the cover's cool.

The tracklist doesn't sound too bad for a Geffen years best of.

I wish they had included the orchestral version of Dream On performed live at MTV's 10th anniversary in 1991, however.

Hmm, which label is this being released on, since it seems to be about 99% Geffen material. You'd think if it was a Columbia album they'd spend a little bit of time on Nine Lives and Just Push Play.

FYI, Aerosmith previously had three GH albums.

Greatest Hits which had Dream On, Same Old Song and Dance, Sweet Emotion, Walk This Way, Last Child, Back in the Saddle, Draw the Line, Kings and Queens, Come Together, and Remember (Walking in the Sand).

Gems which had Rats in the Cellar, Lick and a Promise, Chip Away the Stone, No Surprise, Mama Kin, Adam's Apple, Nobody's Fault, Round and Round, Critical Mass, Lord of the Thighs, Jailbait, and Train Kept A Rollin'.

Big Ones which had Walk on Water, Love in an Elevator, Rag Doll, What It Takes, Dude (Looks Like a Lady), Janie's Got a Gun, Cryin', Amazing, Blind Man, Deuces Are Wild, The Other Side, Crazy, Eat the Rich, Angel, and Livin' on the Edge.

Good points, SNM. I wonder though if Aerosmith actually had more GH cd's? What about the 3-4 live discs they released ("Live Bootleg", "Classics Live 1" and "2" and "South of Sanity")? One might think that a live disc is also a GH package considering most concerts are comprised of that particular artist's most popular cuts with a few album cuts thrown in for the "hardcores".

Seems like the record labels love to whore out 'Smith, huh?

The labels don't have to whore out AeroSHIT, they have done it themselves. First, they became a cheese factory, using the same songwriters that Michael Bolton does. Then came the Super Bowl BETRAYAL. Now this stupid fucking Dodge commercial.

They were so much better when they were strung out on smack.

The rationale behind the Dodge commercial:

Just Push Play wasn't selling up to expectations, hence the commercial endorsement was done to increase exposure of the album.

    Hey, it worked for Sting.

It's on the bonus disc of Columbia's Box Of Fire box set, I think.
