I just re-counted them last night. I've got 928 CD's in my collection. (Exactly 30 of them are Napster Mix CD's)

    How about everyone else...?

Probably 90-100. But I should sell some of them that I never listen to anymore because I bought them for only one song.

Over 900? Holy crap that is alot of cds BK.
I thought I had a ton with 300+. You must have a room for just your cds.
Residing in Irondequoit, have you ever gone to the House of Guitars and just forgot what you went there to buy? I must have 30 cds that I never would have bought had I been able to find what I was looking for. That place is a mess. But cool though.
Ever noticed the autographs by Eddie and Alex in there?

I've got a friend who works as a music director at a local radio station. He recently built a new home and above the garage he built a room to just hold his own CD's. I asked how many, he wasn't real sure, somewhere in the thousands. Of course, the majority of the discs were free.

    Hey Scherb:

Yeah I do have a boatload of CD's. I have them in my living room of my house. They hang out in 2 big open cabinets near my stereo entertainment center.

I still remember the first CD I ever bought back in 1988: Guns 'N' Roses Appetite For Destruction. Still have it.

Yeah I know what you mean about the HOG. Sometimes I go there just to admire the "organized chaos" in that place. I live just 10 minutes north of it, so I go there a lot....

On a side note: On the street I live on, the house directly across from me is number: 5150.------Someday I will OWN that place! LOL.......

    -Rock on

I've got over 200 factory albums alone, and probably a good 50 homemade ones on top of that.

    Guess I'm a CD-junkie, huh?

Around 300 or so, plus about 100 cassettes, and around 50 8-tracks.

The sad thing is I am too young to really remember 8-tracks, but I thought it would be a real cool retro type thing when I bought the 8-track player a few years back, from there I have asked all the older people I know and checked out garage sales for 8-tracks. No VH yet, but I do have Montrose on 8-track.

Montrose 8-Track? That's pretty damn cool!

My friend's parents had a "cassette to 8-track" converter back when I was a youngen. I can remember thinking, "What the hell is this stuff?"

Kind of like today's youth and records, huh?
