Any word if WB is planning to release remasters of 5150 and OU812? I think, in particular, 5150 could benefit from a new treatment.

I don't think there's any plan to do them. But then again, even if there was, neither VH nor WB would likely be very quick to let us know about it. They're kinda quiet that way.

I'd really like to hear OU812 sound better, but then I think it really needs to be remixed to bring the bass up in the mix.

How far in advance were the current remasters announced? I didn't know anything about them until the end of August.

However.. I agree, remixing is definitely needed to boost Mike's bass. I really don't know how VH let their albums be released with such a tiny bass.

I'd like to think later on down the line they'd hit the rest of the albums.

But I wouldn't think anytime soon, either.

How about that guy who has the website called "Down In Flames" that has the occasional boot song on his site for downloading? He cleans up the songs. Maybe he could do all of OU812 like that in order to boost the bass. I have some MP3s of that album and if I have my settings right, it sounds great.

Cool site.. I wish the VHIII unreleased song would have been put in the album. I still can't listen to the album without skips

they are definately releasing remasteres up to the f.u.c.k. album. i think that the sammy era albums will be release with the second batch of remasters, which includes albums from other artists such as dire straits, doors, eric clapton, etc. as to when that is, who knows.

5150 and OU812 are obviously in need of remastering.

I think it will be a few years before we see it happen though.

OU812 sometimes sounds like it was recorded under water.

Clome own blaby flinlish whlat you sltralted...

Seriously though, I'd wager 5150 and OU812 are on the list to be done, but probably not as high a priority. I'd imagine since 5150 has sold practically 6 million they'd definitely do that one.

Well, peavey5150 said it, but I also saw this exchange on the Official Site:

    <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by billy007:

    <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by Bradman:
From what I understand the albums from 1986 and beyond will also eventually be remastered.

The guy probably should've asked him up to what point they would remaster, but at least this says that there will be more to come.

Let's hope this from 1986 and beyond isn't like the from cyberspace and beyond thing Brad said a few months ago
