I know this one was probably done way back, but since there are some /\A/\ fans here, I thought I would do this one again...

So here it is, name your favorite song on each Aerosmith album... Here are mine as follows:

Aerosmith: One Way Street
Get Your Wings: Seasons
Toys in the Attic: No More No More
Rocks: Lick and a Promise
Draw the Line: Kings and Queens
Live! Bootlegged: Chip Away the Stone
Night in the Ruts: Chiquita
Rock in a Hard Place: Joanie's Butterfly
Done With Mirrors: The Reason a Dog
Permanent Vacation: Permanent Vacation
PUMP: Elevator
Get a Grip: Fever
Nine Lives: Sweet Taste of India
Just Push Play: Sunshine

I left out all other live/greatest hits type stuff... with the exception of Live Bootlegged... So now it's your turn!

Also if you ever get to see Draw the Line (Aerosmith coverband) they rock

What is wrong with people? NO ONE here is an Aerosmith fan??????? Oh wait, what am I thinking, this board seems to have a TON of people who loath this band and have almost a hatred for them. Well find then.

Here's my favorite off each album (and by the way I love Aerosmith, and even like a LOT of their new stuff!)

Aerosmith: Make It
Get Your Wings: Seasons Of Wither
Toys in the Attic: Adam's Apple
Rocks: Rats In the Cellar, (my all time favorite Aerosmith tune!)
Draw the Line: Draw The Line
Live! Bootlegged: Chip Away the Stone
Night in the Ruts: Chiquita
Rock in a Hard Place: I admit I don't own this one or care for it
Done With Mirrors: My Fist Your Face
Permanent Vacation: Permanent Vacation
PUMP: F.I.N.E.
Get a Grip: Walk On Down (Joe Perry's best lead vox in my opinion)
Nine Lives: Sweet Taste of India
Just Push Play: Beyond Beautiful

There ya have it Bostonian! (cause no one else here seems to give a shit)

BC,

My pleasure! I think that it is really too bad that there is a lot of animosity from VH fans to /\A/\ fans. Yes some people including myself feel that Aerosmith has sold themselves out, but you know what... if they're having fun, what the hell. In fact in today's music environment it's tough to be true to yourself and still be sucessful. Yes there are always exceptions to that rule, but all in all it is really impossible.

Aerosmith had some really great records, and still do put out music. Also the fact that all 5 members are STILL with the band after 30 years, that is truely amazing itself too. As for bands evolving, look no one band/person/place/thing/country/movie francise/relationship/etc. can stay the same forever. And to have Aerosmith, or VH for that matter to stay the same isn't fair to the musicians, and fans. While you may not like the progress (or regression in some cases) it happens and is a part of life. Well enough of my soap box sermon But I am glad to see some Aerosmith fans.

Btw. Did Joe ever appologize to Eddie for being a dick during 78?

I really enjoy their earlier stuff, I just haven't listened to them in ages. Never actually got to hear some of the albums like the debut one, night in the ruts. From the tunes I can remember off the albums, here are my faves:

Toys in the Attic: lots of great stuff. I'd have to give it another listen to pick one.

Rocks: Sick as a Dog

Draw The Line: Kings And Queens

Live Bootleg: can't remember... must fix record player and give it a listen.

Rock in a Hard PLace: Jailbait

Done With Mirrors: Let the Music Do the Talking... this was the first CD I owned probably one of my least fave Aero albums, not counting the post Get a Grip ones.

Pump: F.I.N.E.

Get a Grip: uh... Flesh?

Nine Lives: Fallin in Love is Hard on the Knees

Just Pushed Play: only listened to it once. the title track was close to mediocre.

Good to see people showing the love for "Chip Away The Stone" - I thought I was the only one that loved that song! Anyway, I'll have to put my list together after I get home in a few days!

Of course! How can you not show love to Chip Away the Stone. I always love hearing that one live...

You know, with this whole aero-fest thing, imagine if VH joined up on tour with Aerosmith along with a few other bands?

What a day that would be!

Aerosmith - "Mama Kin"
Get Your Wings - tough to pick just one, but I'll go with "S.O.S. (Too Bad)"
Toys In The Attic - "Sweet Emotion", probably my favourite overall
Rocks (and this album surely does) - "Sick As A Dog"
Draw The Line - "Draw The Line"
Live Bootleg - "Chip Away The Stone"
Night In The Ruts - "Three Mile Smile"
Rock In A Hard Place - "Lightning Strikes" - maybe the should pull an Ozzy and have Joe and Brad re-record Crespo and Dufay's parts...
Done With Mirrors - "The Hop" (have a great live version of that, "My Fist Your Face" and "She's On Fire" on a "Darkness" 12" vinyl single that was available at the time - wish they'd put those live tracks on a CD somewhere...)
Permanent Vacation - "Hangman Jury"
Pump - "Water Song"/"Janie's Got A Gun"
Get A Grip - "Livin' On The Edge"
Nine Lives - "Taste of India"
Just Push Play - "Sunshine"?
