Well, I was surprised to see they performed and I also heard their new song for the first time. Let me just say that Steve Tyler is the most amazing rock vocalist alive today...Timeless voice. The song, however was sappy. I can almost guarantee that the band did not write that song. Oh well...I'm sure they wrote almost all of the rest of the stuff on their album...Maybe they have a Mutt Lange kinda guy in the background like Def Leppard once did? Oh well...I hope their new songs rock more...No guitar solo? That's a disappointment.

"Most amazing rock vocalist"? You've got to be kidding me? Steve Tyler has got to be the cheesiest singer from any popular rock and roll band that I can think of.

He spent the first half of his career imitating Mick Jagger and the second half imitating David Lee Roth.

Well I will give them some credit for still being around for all these years. They still put out a good live show as well. They can rock in a pinch, although their choice for singles do lack the rock vibe. Just my opinion on AeroSmith btw. And to think I don't even own a single AeroSmith cd. Strange shit, being the rock n roll cowboy that I am. Out.

Steven Tyler is awesome, but he doesn't compare to Robert Plant or Roger Daultry or Sammy Hagar.

Okay, get me a sponsor I'm getting off the crack pipe for sure. It's on right now and I could swear they said they've sold 496 million records. I had the captioning running underneath and it definitely said that figure. Dammit, they must be using the Sammy calculator.

Sounds like a song that would sound better in the studio version.

Well I didn't watch the show Glenn, but damn they obviously had the same math teacher as Sammy. LOL. 496 mill? Way to go AeroSmith! Shit man the Beatles can't even compete with that. Out.

LOL! Maybe it was 49.6 million, I don't know. Anyway, from what I'v heard, it's a good thing I missed that performance. Sounds like Aerosmith is still all about slick, overproduced albums and song doctors. Damn shame.

That is why Steve is an impressive rock vocalist...He can still sing and ever since the drugs, his voice keeps getting better. No offense to Dave, Sammy, and even Gary, but their best days are in the past...Steve's still singing great and I'm not even a Aerosmith fan. Give the guy credit.

I missed their performance, but I'm not cryin' in my JD over it. I dig their old records and I'm slowly acquiring all of them(you peeps must get LIVE BOOTLEG). I'm pretty picky and un-impressed with most of the mess afta "Pump." They still got the rocks live, tho. Saw 'em in '93(w/Jackyl) and it was sweet.

Aerosmith is a funny one with me.

I have Pandoras Box and I hate it.

I love all of their over produced, sappy bullshit tunes. Their earlier tunes don't do much for me. Just straight ahead rock tunes that just sound like old reworked blues tunes. There's nothing that really sucks me in. You know, how those old VH records just take you back to your youth. I think a lot of it is that I grew up on VH, not Aerosmith, and I caught Aerosmith when they were on their way up the second time up.

I do admire the boys for getting rid of their demons.

I saw them a few years ago and it was OK. Just not heavy enough for me. But it wasn't bad.

I saw them back in '98, and Tyler was just amazing. That man can sing!
